Taasa Children Relief
Making a Difference
About Us

Taasa Children Relief (TCR) is a registered non-profit humanitarian organization dedicated to restoring hope and transforming the lives of vulnerable children throughout Uganda. Our work focuses on two life-changing pillars: Education and Healthcare, especially in impoverished, hunger-stricken, and conflict-affected regions.
Founded as a grassroots initiative in the Karamoja region — one of Uganda’s most marginalized areas — TCR now operates across all districts of Uganda, empowering children to overcome adversity and reach their full potential.
Our Story

TCR was born from a deep, firsthand understanding of the severe hardships faced by children in Karamoja — extreme poverty, hunger, limited access to healthcare, and no pathway to education. What began as a local response by compassionate volunteers quickly grew into a national movement committed to addressing the systemic challenges children face across Uganda.
Today, TCR is a beacon of hope, delivering high-impact, community-driven solutions that nurture health, restore dignity, and open the doors to education for thousands of children in need.
