Restoring Mobility and Hope with Nkolo Orthopedics Project
In a life-changing partnership with Nkolo Orthopedics, Taasa Children Relief provided prosthetic legs to amputees in Panganyara Village, Kotido District, Karamoja region. A total of 15 individuals, including both children and adults, benefited from this initiative. Each prosthetic leg cost approximately $1,000 (about UGX 4 million).
One of the beneficiaries, Mr. Adukku Michael, lost his leg during a period of insecurity and had been using crutches for many years. Upon receiving his prosthetic leg, there was immense joy and jubilation as he was able to walk again independently.
