Education Program
Every child and young person deserves the chance to learn, grow, and build a meaningful future. Yet many children in Karamoja and other parts of Uganda are held back by poverty, limited access to quality education, and lack of practical skills. Our Education Program equips vulnerable children and youth with education, life skills, and opportunities — laying the foundation for lifelong learning and economic independence.
About the Program
We address educational inequality by supporting vulnerable children with school meals, learning materials, and school fees so they can stay in school and thrive.
Beyond access to education, we intentionally integrate skills development, digital literacy, mentorship, and economic empowerment into learning. Our approach ensures children and youth not only succeed academically but also acquire practical, employable skills that prepare them for the modern world and self-reliance.
School Meals & Learning Materials
Many children struggle to concentrate and attend school consistently due to hunger and lack of basic supplies. We provide nutritious school meals, books, uniforms, and scholastic materials to support regular attendance, improved performance, and overall well-being.
Skills Development, Digital Literacy & Mentorship
We equip children and youth with practical skills that complement classroom learning. Through structured training and mentorship, they gain vocational abilities, digital skills, creativity, and life skills such as problem-solving, communication, and financial awareness — helping them transition confidently into further education, employment, or entrepreneurship.
School Infrastructure & Safe Learning Spaces
A safe and supportive learning environment is essential for education. We invest in classrooms, kitchens, sanitation facilities, and learning spaces where children can study, practice skills, and participate in digital and community-based learning programs.
Support for Teachers, Families & Youth Empowerment
We strengthen learning outcomes by partnering with teachers and families while empowering youth beyond the classroom. By working closely with caregivers and educators, and providing guidance on livelihood skills and economic empowerment, we help create stable support systems that enable children to remain in school and youth to build sustainable livelihoods.
