About the Program
We work with children, families, and schools to raise awareness about climate change and promote sustainable solutions. Our initiatives focus on climate-smart agriculture, safe water access, sanitation, tree planting, clean energy use, and waste management — all designed to build resilience against droughts, floods, and food insecurity.
Climate-Smart Agriculture
We help farmers adopt climate-smart farming practices that can withstand climate shocks while increasing productivity. This approach boosts food security, ensures families can cope with changing weather patterns, and reduces the risk of hunger for children.
Water, Sanitation & Hygiene
To keep children safe and healthy, we provide water tanks, water filters, and boreholes for clean drinking water in schools and communities. We also build pit latrines to promote hygiene and prevent disease outbreaks, creating a safer environment for children to learn and grow.
Community Action for the Environment
Through school clubs and community groups, children and families learn practical ways to care for the environment. From planting backyard trees to adopting eco-friendly practices, we equip communities with tools to safeguard their future.
Community Impact
So far, our Climate Change Program has enabled schools and communities to access clean water through new water tanks, filters, and boreholes, while pit latrines have improved sanitation for hundreds of children. Dozens of families are now practicing climate-smart agriculture, ensuring they can feed their children even in times of drought. With thousands of trees planted and more households using energy-saving stoves, communities are becoming more resilient to climate change while protecting the environment for future generations.
